महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-26, verse-11

दशैव तु सहस्राणि त्रिगर्तानां नराधिप ।
चत्वारि तु सहस्राणि वासुदेवस्य येऽनुगाः ॥११॥
11. daśaiva tu sahasrāṇi trigartānāṁ narādhipa ,
catvāri tu sahasrāṇi vāsudevasya ye'nugāḥ.
11. daśa eva tu sahasrāṇi trigartānām narādhipa
catvāri tu sahasrāṇi vāsudevasya ye anugāḥ
11. narādhipa tu trigartānām daśa eva sahasrāṇi
tu ye vāsudevasya anugāḥ catvāri sahasrāṇi
11. O king, there were indeed ten thousand Trigartas, and also four thousand followers of Vāsudeva.
