महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-21, verse-8

द्रोणचापविमुक्तेन शरौघेणासुहारिणा ।
सिन्धोरिव महौघेन ह्रियमाणान्यथा प्लवान् ॥८॥
8. droṇacāpavimuktena śaraugheṇāsuhāriṇā ,
sindhoriva mahaughena hriyamāṇānyathā plavān.

sindhoḥ iva mahaugheṇa hriyamāṇān yathā plavān
8. droṇacāpavimuktena asuhāriṇā śaraugheṇa yathā

8. They were being carried away, just as boats are swept away by the great current of a river (sindhu), by the life-taking deluge of arrows released from Droṇa's bow.
