महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-21, verse-18

कर्ण उवाच ।
नैष जातु महाबाहुर्जीवन्नाहवमुत्सृजेत् ।
न चेमान्पुरुषव्याघ्र सिंहनादान्विशक्ष्यते ॥१८॥
18. karṇa uvāca ,
naiṣa jātu mahābāhurjīvannāhavamutsṛjet ,
na cemānpuruṣavyāghra siṁhanādānviśakṣyate.
18. karṇa uvāca | na eṣa jātu mahābāhuḥ jīvan āhavam
utsṛjet | na ca imān puruṣavyāghra siṃhanādān viśakṣyate
18. karṇa uvāca eṣa mahābāhuḥ jātu jīvan āhavam na
utsṛjet ca puruṣavyāghra imān siṃhanādān na viśakṣyate
18. Karna said: 'This mighty-armed warrior will certainly not abandon the battle while he is alive. Nor will this tiger among men fail to perceive these lion-like roars.'
