महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-21, verse-7

संजय उवाच ।
तान्दृष्ट्वा चलितान्संख्ये प्रणुन्नान्द्रोणसायकैः ।
पाञ्चालान्पाण्डवान्मत्स्यान्सृञ्जयांश्चेदिकेकयान् ॥७॥
7. saṁjaya uvāca ,
tāndṛṣṭvā calitānsaṁkhye praṇunnāndroṇasāyakaiḥ ,
pāñcālānpāṇḍavānmatsyānsṛñjayāṁścedikekayān.
7. sañjayaḥ uvāca tān dṛṣṭvā calitān saṃkhye praṇunnān
droṇasāyakaiḥ pāñcālān pāṇḍavān matsyān sṛñjayān ca cedikekayān
7. sañjayaḥ uvāca droṇasāyakaiḥ praṇunnān saṃkhye calitān tān
pāñcālān pāṇḍavān matsyān sṛñjayān ca cedikekayān dṛṣṭvā
7. Sañjaya said: He then saw the Pañcālas, Pāṇḍavas, Matsyas, Sṛñjayas, Cedis, and Kekayas, all shaken in battle and driven back by Droṇa's arrows.
