महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-68, verse-18

कवचानां विचित्राणां भूषणानां प्रभास्तथा ।
खं दिशः प्रदिशश्चैव भासयामासुरोजसा ।
विरराज तदा राजंस्तत्र तत्र रणाङ्गणम् ॥१८॥
18. kavacānāṁ vicitrāṇāṁ bhūṣaṇānāṁ prabhāstathā ,
khaṁ diśaḥ pradiśaścaiva bhāsayāmāsurojasā ,
virarāja tadā rājaṁstatra tatra raṇāṅgaṇam.

18. O King, the gleam of diverse armors and ornaments also illuminated the sky, the cardinal directions, and the intermediate directions with their intense radiance. Thus, the battlefield shone brightly in various places.
