महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-147, verse-2

दुर्योधन निबोधेदं यत्त्वां वक्ष्यामि पुत्रक ।
तथा तत्कुरु भद्रं ते यद्यस्ति पितृगौरवम् ॥२॥
2. duryodhana nibodhedaṁ yattvāṁ vakṣyāmi putraka ,
tathā tatkuru bhadraṁ te yadyasti pitṛgauravam.
2. duryodhana nibodha idam yat tvām vakṣyāmi putrakā
tathā tat kuru bhadram te yadi asti pitṛgauravam
2. putrakā duryodhana yat tvām vakṣyāmi,
idam nibodha; yadi pitṛgauravam asti,
tathā tat kuru; te bhadram [bhaviṣyati].
2. Duryodhana, my son, listen to this that I am about to tell you. Do as I say, and it will be well for you, especially if you have respect for your father.
