दुर्योधनमुवाचेदं नृपमध्ये जनाधिप ॥१॥

Vasudeva said: When this had thus been spoken by Gandhari, Dhritarashtra, the lord of men and ruler of people, said this to Duryodhana in the midst of the kings.
