महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-102, verse-14

कारणस्य तु दौर्बल्याच्चिन्तयामि महामुने ।
अस्य देहकरस्तात मम पुत्रो महाद्युते ।
भक्षितो वैनतेयेन दुःखार्तास्तेन वै वयम् ॥१४॥
14. kāraṇasya tu daurbalyāccintayāmi mahāmune ,
asya dehakarastāta mama putro mahādyute ,
bhakṣito vainateyena duḥkhārtāstena vai vayam.

putraḥ mahādyute bhakṣitaḥ
vainateyena duḥkhārtāḥ tena vai vayam
14. O great sage, I am troubled due to the weakness of this reason. O venerable one, my son, this greatly radiant being, was devoured by Vainateya (Garuḍa). Therefore, we are indeed afflicted with sorrow.
