महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-102, verse-11

अभिगम्य स्वयं कन्यामयं दातुं समुद्यतः ।
मातलेस्तस्य संमानं कर्तुमर्हो भवानपि ॥११॥
11. abhigamya svayaṁ kanyāmayaṁ dātuṁ samudyataḥ ,
mātalestasya saṁmānaṁ kartumarho bhavānapi.
11. abhigamya svayam kanyām ayam dātum samudyataḥ
mātaleḥ tasya sammānam kartum arhaḥ bhavān api
11. This [person] has personally come and is prepared to give the girl. Your honor should also grant respect to Mātali.
