महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-17, verse-20

सहस्रमृषयो यस्य नित्यमासन्सभासदः ।
तपःश्रुतोपसंपन्नाः सर्वकामैरुपस्थिताः ॥२०॥
20. sahasramṛṣayo yasya nityamāsansabhāsadaḥ ,
tapaḥśrutopasaṁpannāḥ sarvakāmairupasthitāḥ.

tapaḥ śruta upasampannāḥ sarvakāmaiḥ upasthitāḥ
20. A thousand sages, endowed with asceticism (tapas) and scriptural knowledge, were always members of his assembly, and they were provided with all their desires.
