महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-17, verse-19

एनं हि स्वरसंपन्ना बहवः सूतमागधाः ।
सायंप्रातरुपातिष्ठन्सुमृष्टमणिकुण्डलाः ॥१९॥
19. enaṁ hi svarasaṁpannā bahavaḥ sūtamāgadhāḥ ,
sāyaṁprātarupātiṣṭhansumṛṣṭamaṇikuṇḍalāḥ.

sāyamprātaḥ upātiṣṭhan sumṛṣṭamaṇikuṇḍalāḥ
19. Indeed, many bards and panegyrists, endowed with pleasant voices and adorned with shining jeweled earrings, attended him evening and morning.
