महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-265, verse-26

तच्छ्रुत्वा रावणो वाक्यं सीतयोक्तं सुनिष्ठुरम् ।
प्रत्याख्यातोऽपि दुर्मेधाः पुनरेवाब्रवीद्वचः ॥२६॥
26. tacchrutvā rāvaṇo vākyaṁ sītayoktaṁ suniṣṭhuram ,
pratyākhyāto'pi durmedhāḥ punarevābravīdvacaḥ.
26. tat śrutvā rāvaṇaḥ vākyam sītayā uktam suniṣṭhuram
pratyākhyātaḥ api durmedhāḥ punaḥ eva abravīt vacaḥ
26. Having heard that exceedingly harsh speech spoken by Sītā, Rāvaṇa, despite being rejected, the foolish one, spoke again.
