महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-265, verse-17

इत्युक्ता तेन वैदेही परिवृत्य शुभानना ।
तृणमन्तरतः कृत्वा तमुवाच निशाचरम् ॥१७॥
17. ityuktā tena vaidehī parivṛtya śubhānanā ,
tṛṇamantarataḥ kṛtvā tamuvāca niśācaram.

tṛṇam antaratas kṛtvā tam uvāca niśācaram
17. Having been addressed thus by him, the beautiful-faced Vaidehi (Sītā), turning away and placing a blade of grass between them, spoke to that night-roaming demon (Rāvaṇa).
