महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-256, verse-26

बलिं स्वयं प्रत्यगृह्णात्प्रीयमाणस्त्रिलोचनः ।
वरं चास्मै ददौ देवः स च जग्राह तच्छृणु ॥२६॥
26. baliṁ svayaṁ pratyagṛhṇātprīyamāṇastrilocanaḥ ,
varaṁ cāsmai dadau devaḥ sa ca jagrāha tacchṛṇu.
26. balim svayam pratyagṛhṇāt prīyamāṇaḥ trilocanaḥ
varam ca asmai dadau devaḥ saḥ ca jagrāha tat śṛṇu
26. The three-eyed (Trilocana) deity, being pleased, personally accepted the offering. The god also granted him a boon, and the king accepted it. Listen to that.
