महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-230, verse-25

भज्यमानेष्वनीकेषु धार्तराष्ट्रेषु सर्वशः ।
कर्णो वैकर्तनो राजंस्तस्थौ गिरिरिवाचलः ॥२५॥
25. bhajyamāneṣvanīkeṣu dhārtarāṣṭreṣu sarvaśaḥ ,
karṇo vaikartano rājaṁstasthau giririvācalaḥ.
25. bhajyamāneṣu anīkeṣu dhārtarāṣṭreṣu sarvaśaḥ
karṇaḥ vaikartanaḥ rājan tasthau giriḥ iva acalaḥ
25. O King, while the armies of the Dhṛtarāṣṭras were being utterly shattered, Karṇa, the son of Vikartana, stood firm like an unmoving mountain.
