महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-168, verse-9

हतेऽश्मवर्षे तु मया जलवर्षे च शोषिते ।
मुमुचुर्दानवा मायामग्निं वायुं च मानद ॥९॥
9. hate'śmavarṣe tu mayā jalavarṣe ca śoṣite ,
mumucurdānavā māyāmagniṁ vāyuṁ ca mānada.
9. hate aśmavarṣe tu mayā jalavarṣe ca śoṣite
mumucuḥ dānavāḥ māyām agnim vāyum ca mānada
9. However, when I had stopped the hail of stones and dried up the downpour of water, O giver of honor, the demons unleashed their illusory power (māyā), along with fire and wind.
