महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-168, verse-17

सुराणामसुराणां च संग्रामः सुमहानभूत् ।
अमृतार्थे पुरा पार्थ स च दृष्टो मयानघ ॥१७॥
17. surāṇāmasurāṇāṁ ca saṁgrāmaḥ sumahānabhūt ,
amṛtārthe purā pārtha sa ca dṛṣṭo mayānagha.

amṛtārthe purā pārtha saḥ ca dṛṣṭaḥ mayā anagha
17. O Pārtha, O sinless one, in ancient times there was a very great battle between the gods and the demons for the sake of the nectar of immortality, and I witnessed that.
