महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-168, verse-11

तस्यां प्रतिहतायां तु दानवा युद्धदुर्मदाः ।
प्राकुर्वन्विविधा माया यौगपद्येन भारत ॥११॥
11. tasyāṁ pratihatāyāṁ tu dānavā yuddhadurmadāḥ ,
prākurvanvividhā māyā yaugapadyena bhārata.

11. However, when that (illusory power) had been repelled, the demons, driven mad by battle, created various other magical illusions (māyā) simultaneously, O Bhārata.
