महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-134, verse-31

बन्द्युवाच ।
अहं पुत्रो वरुणस्योत राज्ञो न मे भयं सलिले मज्जितस्य ।
इमं मुहूर्तं पितरं द्रक्ष्यतेऽयमष्टावक्रश्चिरनष्टं कहोडम् ॥३१॥
31. bandyuvāca ,
ahaṁ putro varuṇasyota rājño; na me bhayaṁ salile majjitasya ,
imaṁ muhūrtaṁ pitaraṁ drakṣyate'ya;maṣṭāvakraściranaṣṭaṁ kahoḍam.
31. bandin uvāca aham putraḥ varuṇasya
uta rājñaḥ na me bhayam salile
majjitasya imam muhūrtam pitaram drakṣyate
ayam aṣṭāvakraḥ ciranaṣṭam kahoḍam
31. Bandin said: 'I am the son of Varuṇa, the king, so I have no fear of being immersed in water. This Aṣṭāvakra will, in this very moment, see his long-lost father Kahora.'
