दशा दशोक्ताः पुरुषस्य लोके सहस्रमाहुर्दश पूर्णं शतानि ।
दशैव मासान्बिभ्रति गर्भवत्यो दशेरका दश दाशा दशार्णाः ॥१६॥

daśaiva māsānbibhrati garbhavatyo; daśerakā daśa dāśā daśārṇāḥ.

Aṣṭāvakra said: Ten directions are declared for a person (puruṣa) in the world. They state that ten complete hundreds make a thousand. Pregnant women carry their fetuses for ten months. There are ten reed-mats (iraḳā), ten fishermen (dāśa), and ten Daśārṇas (people from the Daśārṇa country or the river itself).
