महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-131, verse-24

राजोवाच ।
अनुग्रहमिमं मन्ये श्येन यन्माभियाचसे ।
तस्मात्तेऽद्य प्रदास्यामि स्वमांसं तुलया धृतम् ॥२४॥
24. rājovāca ,
anugrahamimaṁ manye śyena yanmābhiyācase ,
tasmātte'dya pradāsyāmi svamāṁsaṁ tulayā dhṛtam.
24. rājā uvāca anugraham imam manye śyena yat mām abhiyācase
tasmāt te adya pradāsyāmi svamāṃsam tulayā dhṛtam
24. The King said: 'O hawk, I consider it a great favor (anugraha) that you ask this of me. Therefore, I will give you my own flesh, weighed on the balance, today.'
