महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-115, verse-23

भृगुरुवाच ।
ऋतौ त्वं चैव माता च स्नाते पुंसवनाय वै ।
आलिङ्गेतां पृथग्वृक्षौ साश्वत्थं त्वमुदुम्बरम् ॥२३॥
23. bhṛguruvāca ,
ṛtau tvaṁ caiva mātā ca snāte puṁsavanāya vai ,
āliṅgetāṁ pṛthagvṛkṣau sāśvatthaṁ tvamudumbaram.
23. bhṛguḥ uvāca ṛtau tvam ca eva mātā ca snāte puṃsavanāya
vai āliṅgetām pṛthak vṛkṣau sāśvattham tvam udumbaram
23. Bhrigu said, "At the proper season (ṛtau), both you and your mother, having bathed, should perform the male-producing ritual (puṃsavana). You two should embrace separate trees: you (Satyavati) the Aśvattha, and your mother the Udumbara."
