महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-115, verse-14

ऋचीक उवाच ।
एकतःश्यामकर्णानां पाण्डुराणां तरस्विनाम् ।
दास्याम्यश्वसहस्रं ते मम भार्या सुतास्तु ते ॥१४॥
14. ṛcīka uvāca ,
ekataḥśyāmakarṇānāṁ pāṇḍurāṇāṁ tarasvinām ,
dāsyāmyaśvasahasraṁ te mama bhāryā sutāstu te.

| dāsyāmi aśvasahasram te mama bhāryā sutāḥ tu te
14. Ṛcīka said, "I will give you a thousand swift, white horses, each with one black ear. And my wife's sons will be yours."
