वार्ष्णेयं मन्यते कृष्णमर्हणीयतमं भुवि ॥२७॥

27. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tato bhīṣmaḥ śāṁtanavo buddhyā niścitya bhārata ,
vārṣṇeyaṁ manyate kṛṣṇamarhaṇīyatamaṁ bhuvi.

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: 'Then, O descendant of Bharata, Bhishma, son of Śāntanu, having thoughtfully determined, considered Kṛṣṇa, the Vārṣṇeya, to be the most supremely honorable (arhaṇīyatama) one on earth.'
