महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-18, verse-4

त्रिभिरासादितोऽस्माभिर्विजने स नराधिपः ।
न संदेहो यथा युद्धमेकेनाभ्युपयास्यति ॥४॥
4. tribhirāsādito'smābhirvijane sa narādhipaḥ ,
na saṁdeho yathā yuddhamekenābhyupayāsyati.
4. tribhiḥ āsāditaḥ asmābhiḥ vijane sa narādhipaḥ
na saṃdehaḥ yathā yuddham ekena abhyupayāsyati
4. When that king (Jarāsandha) is cornered by the three of us in a secluded place, there is no doubt that he will engage in battle with only one (of us).
