महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-18, verse-26

कुरुभ्यः प्रस्थितास्ते तु मध्येन कुरुजाङ्गलम् ।
रम्यं पद्मसरो गत्वा कालकूटमतीत्य च ॥२६॥
26. kurubhyaḥ prasthitāste tu madhyena kurujāṅgalam ,
ramyaṁ padmasaro gatvā kālakūṭamatītya ca.
26. kurubhyaḥ prasthitāḥ te tu madhyena kurujāṅgalam
ramyam padmasaraḥ gatvā kālakūṭam atītya ca
26. But having departed from the Kuru lands, they passed through the Kuru-Jāṅgala region; having reached the delightful Lotus Lake, they then crossed over Kālakūṭa.
