महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-18, verse-27

गण्डकीयां तथा शोणं सदानीरां तथैव च ।
एकपर्वतके नद्यः क्रमेणैत्य व्रजन्ति ते ॥२७॥
27. gaṇḍakīyāṁ tathā śoṇaṁ sadānīrāṁ tathaiva ca ,
ekaparvatake nadyaḥ krameṇaitya vrajanti te.
27. gaṇḍakīyām tathā śoṇam sadānīrām tathā eva ca
ekaparvatake nadyaḥ krameṇa aitya vrajanti te
27. They (the travelers) arrived at the Gaṇḍakī, as well as the Śoṇa and Sadānīrā rivers. These rivers, originating from a single mountain, flow forth successively.
