महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-18, verse-29

उत्तीर्य गङ्गां शोणं च सर्वे ते प्राङ्मुखास्त्रयः ।
कुरवोरश्छदं जग्मुर्मागधं क्षेत्रमच्युताः ॥२९॥
29. uttīrya gaṅgāṁ śoṇaṁ ca sarve te prāṅmukhāstrayaḥ ,
kuravoraśchadaṁ jagmurmāgadhaṁ kṣetramacyutāḥ.

kuravoraśchadam jagmuḥ māgadham kṣetram acyutāḥ
29. All three of them, facing east, having crossed the Gaṅgā and Śoṇa rivers, proceeded undeterred to the Magadhan region (kṣetra) known as Kuravoraśchada.
