ददासि विप्रमुख्येभ्यस्त्वं हि रत्नानि सर्वशः ।

पात्रं प्रतिग्रहे चापि विद्धि मां नृपसत्तम ॥८॥

8. dadāsi vipramukhyebhyastvaṁ hi ratnāni sarvaśaḥ ,

Indeed, you always bestow jewels upon leading Brahmins. You, O tiger among men, are a great giver, and here on earth, you yourself are worthy of receiving. Know me too, O best of kings, as a fitting recipient for this acceptance.
