प्रतिग्राह्यो मतो मे त्वं सदैव पुरुषर्षभ ।
सोऽहं त्वामनुसंप्राप्तो भिक्षितुं मणिकुण्डले ॥१२॥

12. uttaṅka uvāca ,
pratigrāhyo mato me tvaṁ sadaiva puruṣarṣabha ,
so'haṁ tvāmanusaṁprāpto bhikṣituṁ maṇikuṇḍale.

Uttanka said: "O best among men, you are always considered worthy of my acceptance. Therefore, I have approached you to beg for the jeweled earrings."
