महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-56, verse-15

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
इत्युक्तस्त्वब्रवीद्राजा तमुत्तङ्कं पुनर्वचः ।
गच्छ मद्वचनाद्देवीं ब्रूहि देहीति सत्तम ॥१५॥
15. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
ityuktastvabravīdrājā tamuttaṅkaṁ punarvacaḥ ,
gaccha madvacanāddevīṁ brūhi dehīti sattama.
15. vaiśampāyana uvāca iti uktaḥ tu abravīt rājā tam uttaṅkam
punaḥ vacaḥ gaccha mat-vacanāt devīm brūhi dehi iti sattama
15. Vaiśampāyana said: Thus addressed, the king then spoke again to Uttanka, saying, "Go, at my word, and tell the goddess, 'Give them (the earrings)!' O best among men!"
