महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-56, verse-25

स्यन्देते हि दिवा रुक्मं रात्रौ च द्विजसत्तम ।
नक्तं नक्षत्रताराणां प्रभामाक्षिप्य वर्तते ॥२५॥
25. syandete hi divā rukmaṁ rātrau ca dvijasattama ,
naktaṁ nakṣatratārāṇāṁ prabhāmākṣipya vartate.

25. Indeed, O best among the twice-born (dvija)! The luster flows forth both by day and by night. At night, it shines, eclipsing the radiance of the constellations and stars.
