महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-56, verse-10

सत्यं ते प्रतिजानामि नात्र मिथ्यास्ति किंचन ।
अनृतं नोक्तपूर्वं मे स्वैरेष्वपि कुतोऽन्यथा ॥१०॥
10. satyaṁ te pratijānāmi nātra mithyāsti kiṁcana ,
anṛtaṁ noktapūrvaṁ me svaireṣvapi kuto'nyathā.
10. satyam te pratijānāmi na atra mithyā asti kiñcana
anṛtam na uktapūrvaṃ me svaireshu api kutaḥ anyathā
10. te satyam pratijānāmi atra kiñcana mithyā na asti
me anṛtam svaireshu api na uktapūrvaṃ kutaḥ anyathā
10. I truly promise this to you; there is absolutely no falsehood here. No untruth has ever been spoken by me, not even in jest; how then could it be otherwise (in a serious matter)?
