महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-38, verse-8

विदितास्ते स्त्रियो याश्च यादृशाश्च स्वभावतः ।
न मामर्हसि देवर्षे नियोक्तुं प्रश्न ईदृशे ॥८॥
8. viditāste striyo yāśca yādṛśāśca svabhāvataḥ ,
na māmarhasi devarṣe niyoktuṁ praśna īdṛśe.
8. viditāḥ te striyaḥ yāḥ ca yādṛśāḥ ca svabhāvataḥ
na mām arhasi devarṣe niyoktum praśne īdṛśe
8. devarṣe,

mām īdṛśe praśne niyoktum na arhasi.
8. You know these women and their true nature. Therefore, O divine sage, you should not assign me to answer such a question.
