महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-38, verse-12

न स्त्रीभ्यः किंचिदन्यद्वै पापीयस्तरमस्ति वै ।
स्त्रियो हि मूलं दोषाणां तथा त्वमपि वेत्थ ह ॥१२॥
12. na strībhyaḥ kiṁcidanyadvai pāpīyastaramasti vai ,
striyo hi mūlaṁ doṣāṇāṁ tathā tvamapi vettha ha.
12. na strībhyah kimcit anyat vai pāpīyastaram asti vai
striyah hi mūlam doṣāṇām tathā tvam api vettha ha
12. Indeed, there is nothing worse than women. Women are truly the root of all faults, and you too know this.
