महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-38, verse-28

न कामभोगान्बहुलान्नालंकारार्थसंचयान् ।
तथैव बहु मन्यन्ते यथा रत्यामनुग्रहम् ॥२८॥
28. na kāmabhogānbahulānnālaṁkārārthasaṁcayān ,
tathaiva bahu manyante yathā ratyāmanugraham.
28. na kāma-bhogān bahulān na alaṅkārārtha-saṃcayān
tathā eva bahu manyante yathā ratyām anugraham
28. (janāḥ) bahulān kāma-bhogān na bahu manyante,
na ca alaṅkārārtha-saṃcayān (bahu manyante),

28. People do not value abundant sensual pleasures or vast accumulations of wealth for ornaments as highly as they value a kindness or favor shown in a loving relationship.
