महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-38, verse-14

असद्धर्मस्त्वयं स्त्रीणामस्माकं भवति प्रभो ।
पापीयसो नरान्यद्वै लज्जां त्यक्त्वा भजामहे ॥१४॥
14. asaddharmastvayaṁ strīṇāmasmākaṁ bhavati prabho ,
pāpīyaso narānyadvai lajjāṁ tyaktvā bhajāmahe.
14. asat dharmah tu ayam strīṇām asmākam bhavati prabho
pāpīyasah narān anyat vai lajjām tyaktvā bhajāmahe
14. O Lord, this is truly our (women's) corrupt intrinsic nature (dharma), that abandoning all shame, we resort to other, more wicked men.
