महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-38, verse-27

कामानामपि दातारं कर्तारं मानसान्त्वयोः ।
रक्षितारं न मृष्यन्ति भर्तारं परमं स्त्रियः ॥२७॥
27. kāmānāmapi dātāraṁ kartāraṁ mānasāntvayoḥ ,
rakṣitāraṁ na mṛṣyanti bhartāraṁ paramaṁ striyaḥ.

rakṣitāram na mṛṣyanti bhartāram paramam striyaḥ
27. Women do not tolerate a husband (bhartṛ), even if he grants their desires, provides mental solace, and is their supreme protector.
