महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-38, verse-18

न भयान्नाप्यनुक्रोशान्नार्थहेतोः कथंचन ।
न ज्ञातिकुलसंबन्धात्स्त्रियस्तिष्ठन्ति भर्तृषु ॥१८॥
18. na bhayānnāpyanukrośānnārthahetoḥ kathaṁcana ,
na jñātikulasaṁbandhātstriyastiṣṭhanti bhartṛṣu.

na jñātikulasambandhāt striyaḥ tiṣṭhanti bhartṛṣu

18. Women do not stay with their husbands out of fear, nor out of compassion, nor for the sake of any material benefit, nor due to family or kinship connections, by any means.
