महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-102, verse-17

यो मे दृष्टिपथं गच्छेत्स मे वश्यो भवेदिति ।
इत्यनेन वरो देवाद्याचितो गच्छता दिवम् ॥१७॥

17. yo me dṛṣṭipathaṁ gacchetsa me vaśyo bhavediti ,
ityanena varo devādyācito gacchatā divam.

iti iti anena varaḥ devāt yācitaḥ gacchatā divam

17. yaḥ me dṛṣṭipatham gacchet,
saḥ me vaśyaḥ bhavet iti,
anena divam gacchatā (puruṣeṇa) devāt varaḥ yācitaḥ.

17. (He said,) "Whoever comes into my line of sight, that one shall become subservient to me." Thus, this boon was requested from the deity by him who was going to heaven.
