महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-35, verse-8

यश्चाग्नीनपविध्येत तथैव ब्रह्मविक्रयी ।
एतान्येनांसि सर्वाणि व्युत्क्रान्तसमयश्च यः ॥८॥
8. yaścāgnīnapavidhyeta tathaiva brahmavikrayī ,
etānyenāṁsi sarvāṇi vyutkrāntasamayaśca yaḥ.

etāni enāṃsi sarvāṇi vyutkrāntasamayaḥ ca yaḥ
8. yaḥ ca agnīn apavidhyeta tathā eva brahmavikrayī

8. And one who would extinguish the sacred fires, and similarly one who sells sacred knowledge (brahman), and one who transgresses appointed vows – all these are sins.
