महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-24, verse-7

भक्षयन्तं तु तं दृष्ट्वा शङ्खो भ्रातरमब्रवीत् ।
कुतः फलान्यवाप्तानि हेतुना केन खादसि ॥७॥
7. bhakṣayantaṁ tu taṁ dṛṣṭvā śaṅkho bhrātaramabravīt ,
kutaḥ phalānyavāptāni hetunā kena khādasi.
7. bhakṣayantam tu tam dṛṣṭvā śaṅkhaḥ bhrātaram
abravīt kutaḥ phalāni avāptāni hetunā kena khādasi
7. tu śaṅkhaḥ tam bhakṣayantam dṛṣṭvā bhrātaram abravīt - "kutaḥ
hetunā kena phalāni avāptāni (santi)? khādasi (tvam)?"
7. But Shankha, seeing him eating, said to his brother, "From where did you get these fruits? By what reason are you eating them?"
