ततः स पृथिवीपालो लिखितस्य महात्मनः ।

19. Then that protector of the earth (pṛthivīpāla) had the hands (karau) of the great-souled (mahātman) Likita cut off. Bearing the staff of punishment (daṇḍa), he (Likita) departed.
