महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-4, verse-27

विलापो भग्नसक्थस्य यस्तु राज्ञो मया श्रुतः ।
स पुनर्हृदयं कस्य क्रूरस्यापि न निर्दहेत् ॥२७॥
27. vilāpo bhagnasakthasya yastu rājño mayā śrutaḥ ,
sa punarhṛdayaṁ kasya krūrasyāpi na nirdahet.
27. vilāpaḥ bhagnasakthasya yaḥ tu rājñaḥ mayā śrutaḥ
saḥ punaḥ hṛdayam kasya krūrasya api na nirdrahet

saḥ punaḥ krūrasya api kasya hṛdayam na nirdrahet
27. But the lamentation of the king with broken thighs, which I heard, whose heart, even of a cruel person, would it not burn anew?
