महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-4, verse-17

न चाहं समरे तात कृतवर्मा तथैव च ।
अनिर्जित्य रणे पाण्डून्व्यपयास्याव कर्हिचित् ॥१७॥
17. na cāhaṁ samare tāta kṛtavarmā tathaiva ca ,
anirjitya raṇe pāṇḍūnvyapayāsyāva karhicit.

anirjitya raṇe pāṇḍūn vyapayāsyāva karhicit
17. tāta aham ca tathā eva kṛtavarmā raṇe pāṇḍūn

17. Dear one, neither I nor Kṛtavarman will ever withdraw from battle without first conquering the Pāṇḍavas.
