महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-79, verse-23

प्रजाश्च यौवनप्राप्ता विनशिष्यन्त्यनो तव ।
अग्निप्रस्कन्दनपरस्त्वं चाप्येवं भविष्यसि ॥२३॥
23. prajāśca yauvanaprāptā vinaśiṣyantyano tava ,
agnipraskandanaparastvaṁ cāpyevaṁ bhaviṣyasi.
23. prajāḥ ca yauvanaprāptāḥ vinaśiṣyanti ano tava
agnipraskandanaparaḥ tvam ca api evam bhaviṣyasi
23. O Anu, your offspring, even if they attain youth, will perish. And you too will become one who neglects the sacred fires.
