महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-203, verse-8

ततो देवगणाः सर्वे ते चैव परमर्षयः ।
तमेवार्थं पुरस्कृत्य पितामहमचोदयन् ॥८॥
8. tato devagaṇāḥ sarve te caiva paramarṣayaḥ ,
tamevārthaṁ puraskṛtya pitāmahamacodayan.
8. tataḥ devagaṇāḥ sarve te ca eva paramarṣayaḥ
tam eva artham puraskṛtya pitāmaham acodayan
8. Then, all the hosts of gods and those great sages, keeping that very matter (artha) as their focus, urged Brahmā (pitāmaha).
