महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-134, verse-5

सत्कृतास्ते तु पौरैश्च पौरान्सत्कृत्य चानघाः ।
अलंकृतं जनाकीर्णं विविशुर्वारणावतम् ॥५॥
5. satkṛtāste tu pauraiśca paurānsatkṛtya cānaghāḥ ,
alaṁkṛtaṁ janākīrṇaṁ viviśurvāraṇāvatam.
5. satkṛtāḥ te tu pauraiḥ ca paurān satkṛtya ca
anaghāḥ alaṃkṛtam janākīrṇam viviśuḥ vāraṇāvatam
5. And those blameless ones, after being welcomed by the citizens and having honored the citizens in return, entered Vāraṇāvata, which was adorned and teeming with people.
