महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-115, verse-24

नाज्ञासिषमहं मूढा द्वन्द्वाह्वाने फलद्वयम् ।
तस्मान्नाहं नियोक्तव्या त्वयैषोऽस्तु वरो मम ॥२४॥
24. nājñāsiṣamahaṁ mūḍhā dvandvāhvāne phaladvayam ,
tasmānnāhaṁ niyoktavyā tvayaiṣo'stu varo mama.
24. na ajñāsiṣam aham mūḍhā dvandvāhvāne phaladvayam
tasmāt na aham niyoktavyā tvayā eṣaḥ astu varaḥ mama
24. I, being bewildered, did not know that a double outcome (phala-dvayam) would result from the invocation (āhvāna) of the twin deities (dvandva). Therefore, I should not be made to undertake further invocations by you. Let this be my boon (vara).
