महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-115, verse-11

यशसोऽर्थाय चैव त्वं कुरु कर्म सुदुष्करम् ।
प्राप्याधिपत्यमिन्द्रेण यज्ञैरिष्टं यशोर्थिना ॥११॥
11. yaśaso'rthāya caiva tvaṁ kuru karma suduṣkaram ,
prāpyādhipatyamindreṇa yajñairiṣṭaṁ yaśorthinā.
11. yaśasaḥ arthāya ca eva tvaṃ kuru karma sudūṣkaram
prāpya ādhipatyam indreṇa yajñaiḥ iṣṭam yaśoarthinā
11. And indeed, for the sake of fame, you must perform a very difficult deed (karma). (Do it just as) sovereignty was obtained by Indra, which was desired by those seeking glory and achieved through Vedic rituals (yajña).
